LA PLAYA
The beach on the island of Espalmador is called Racó de s'Alga. It is a beach of fine and white sand with crystal clear waters. It is an island only accesible by boat or swimming from Formentera, from the nearest beach, Es Pasde n'Adolf. When the tide is low it can be reached on foot as the water only reaches to your knees. It is a very short distance.
OBSERVACIONES
Endless sandy area in a priviledged island. In summer the bay is full of boats. Very close there is a lake of salt and mud where people usually swim for fun, but it's not recommended and is unhygienic. Programmed trips from the port of La Savina and from Platja de Ses Illetes There are 3 daily departures with Barca Bahía Company.

From Ibiza
From the port of Eivissa in the summer season a ferry to Formentera leaves every 30 minutes, timetables should be checked but they leave approximately from 9am to 20pm. The prices for a round trip are: turist, 45 €; resident in the Balearic Islands, 22 €; residente in Formentera, 5 €.
From Sabina Port
Once at the Sabina Port you should hire a trip to Espalmador. It makes a short stop at Ses Illetes beach to board more passengers. The company in charge of this organizes several round trips every day, prices should be consulted at the port. The price for a round trip per passenger it is 22 €
Espalmador Bay
Arrivals are near the bay. The island is private property and it does not have any services. The lake of salt anf mud is behind the beach.
