LA PLAYA

Raco d'es Moro is a rocky area on the opposite coast of Caló de s'Oli, almost at the end of Ses Salines Natural Park, Formentera. Protected area, so fishing is prohibited. There is at the end an old sandstone quarry where joung people jump into the sea.

OBSERVACIONES

No indications. It is accessed from the Caló of s'Oli trails to the left (west). It is an area of cliffs where the top is very erosioned, so there are areas with sand. In the north there is an old sandstone quarry from which you can reach the sea, but it is difficult to raise; footwear needed to go on the rocks.

How to arrive at Racó d´es Moro

How to arrive at Racó d´es Moro

From La Savina Port

From La Savina Port, exit towards San Francisco Javier. We must follow the signs to C'an Marroig farm to our right. We will see the brown sign at the first intersection.

Camí de s'Estany road

At the first intersection we'll see a sign pointed to our right the "Cami de s'Estany". It is a dirt road that we must follow. We go coasting S'Estany d'es Peix.

Camí de sa Pedrera road

At the next intersection again continue to our right direction "Cami de Sa Pedrera".

Intersection

We will arrive at to a intersection and we must continue straight. A few meters after, we will see an esplanade to our right front and a sign of "roadblock", so we park here.

Path

We'll continue walking down a path to the right. In just 10 minutes we see the signs of Caló de s'Oli. Upon reaching the coast we will go straight to the fishermen's huts and search a path to our left to reach in only three minutes to the opposite shore where is Es Raco d'es Moro.
