LA PLAYA

Sa Ferradura is a small cove of gravel and rocks located near s'Illot in Alcúdia. It is an unfrequented place as it isn't visible from the road. This cove is reached by following a path 250 metres long from El Racó de ses Barreres de sa Comuna.

OBSERVACIONES

Unfrequented and hidden place. Easy access. Of its 100 metres of length, very few are usable and it is of gravel.

Towards El Mal Pas

We will continue straight on, leaving the petrol station, Mercadona and other premises behind until we get to a set of traffic lights. Once there, we will go towards El Mal Pas development, Puerto Cocodrilo or La Victoria.

Several roundabouts

At the first roundabout we will continue straight ahead. At the second one we will continue towards Port d'Alcúdia-C'an Picafort. At the third one we will see a statue of an orange horse, continuing towards Alcanada or Port Marítim leading us to the next roundabout, and taking the exit to Alcúdia's centre.

From Palma-Alcúdia highway

Reach Alcúdia from the Palma-Alcúdia highway, Ma 13. It comes a moment when it is not a highway any longer and it becomes a two-way road.

Enter the develpoment

This is El Mal Pas road that we will follow up to a small roundabout (it is just a tree in the middle of an intresection),we will be able to see on the right-hand side 'la bodega del Sol' . We will continue by the second exit towards La Victoria.

reach the Port

When reaching the port we will turn right onto the old road to La Victoria. We will continue along it for about 2 km until we see a bridge with the indication 'circulación en los dos sentidos' ('traffic in both directions') We will park here on the right side of the road.

Path

After parking, we will continue towards the coast.This cove is called Racó de ses Barreres de sa Comuna, we must follow a path to the right and continue along it for about 250 metres.
