LA PLAYA

Cala Beltran is a narrow rocky cove just west of Cala Pi. It seems a small stream filled with vegetation, his mouth is full of large stones; from the shore there are 200 metersof calm waters flanked by two cliffs that make a winding path to reach the sea.

OBSERVACIONES

We recommend arriving from the path that starts at Cala Pi. The start is behind the fishermen's huts with steps carved into the rock. The climb is difficult but then it is an easy walk of about 15 minutes along the coast.

How to arrive at Cala Beltran

From Palma

From Palma-Llucmajor motorway take exit number 13. Follow the road to Cap Blanc, there are indications to Cala Pi continuously.

Cala Pi

Once we get to Cala Pi, we will down the stairs to the beach. Continue to the fishermen's huts and find a staircase carved into the rock that's just behind. There is a painted orange markings.

Rise and trail

There are about 20 meters of difficult ascent but once past this stage the rest is easy. There is a path along the coast.

Several paths

You will find several paths crossing, but we must continue always by the coast. There is usually some rocks painted of orange color. This path is used by many hikers and people doing nordic walking. The cove is just 20 minutes from the ascent.
