INFORMACIÓN DE LA PLAYA

LA PLAYA

Cala Falcó is a cove of sand and rocks situated between the residential areas of Cala Romantica and Cales de Mallorca in Manacor. It is in an area of caves, both with access from the sea or on foot. It is accessed on foot from Cala Varques or from S'Estany d'en Mas. Near this cove is practiced psicobloc.

OBSERVACIONES

Smalll and uncrowded cove. Caves area. We find a small cave from the ground, just to the left of the creek as we look to the sea. Inside there are two places: one with a small natural pool. Another cave on the cove is on the right, but you have to venture into the sea, this other cave has three large cavities and do not need to access diving.

How to arrive at Cala Falcó

How to arrive at Cala Falcó

From Manacor

Leave Manacor driving along the Ma 4015 road towards Cales de Mallorca.

Continue to the Ma 4014 road

Cover the Ma 4015 road totally up to its intersection with the Ma 4014 road which goes from Portocristo to Portocolom. We continue to the left, towards Portocristo.

Diversion to the right

From this point we will cover about 160 metres and we will see a turning to the right. It is a way of stones with potholes. We can transit this way but we can not park. We must park in two paths in the road of Portocristo.

Path

We must go along this road in bad conditions for about 1.5km until we see that the roadside widens and park the car there. Then we must follow walking for about another kilometre and a half towards the sea.

Reach Cala Varques

Reaching Cala Varques we must skirt the coast to the left, go past Es Caló blanc (a cove with a rocky bridge) and continue up to the next cove, walking for about 15 minutes.

Another way

You can also park in S'Estany d'en Mas, at Cala Romantica. You have to climb the hill at the south helping with some iron nails nailed to the rock. Then You have to search a path at the top of this hill and go along the coast for 2km. Its hard and not recommended for children.
