LA PLAYA
Cala en Gossalba is a cove of stones located about 13 km far from the Port of Pollença, near Formentor. It is a small cove which is accessed after a long walk through the forest.
OBSERVACIONES
Months of July and August road closed to the lighthouse from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.. The bus does not stop to get to this cove. It is a very hidden cove and the trail for hikers is not very clear. Good footwear is recommended. Its duration is about 40 minutes walking.

How to arrive at Cala en Gossalba
From Puerto Pollença
Once at the Port of Pollença, situated at the first roundabout of the town (characterized by having a seaplane) if we come from Pollença, we will take the third exit towards Formentor (along the ring road).
Towards Formentor
Once we go past the three roundabouts which we will be coming across, just at the last one with a football field beside, we will start the ascent to Formentor.
Towards the lighthouse
Whenever we reach the top we will find the viewpoint of La Creueta. Once at the top we will start the descent towards Formentor, about 3kms, until we get to the entrance to the resort.
Park after the tunnel
At this diversion we will continue towards Faro de Formentor (Formentor's lighthouse). We will continue and leave the coves of Figuera and Murta behind. Continuing towards Faro de Formentor we will go through a tunnel (about 100 metres long) and about 15 kms forward we will find a small parking area (for about 4-5 cars)
Path
We will have arrived at the starting point of the cove access. The access is not marked but it begins just where the road bend is. We must jump over the guardrails and start the descent.
Difficulty
It is a cove with medium-high difficulty, as its access is through a small torrent. There is no signposting towards the access or the journey.
