LA PLAYA
Cala Avellana is a rocky area on the right of Es Grau development. The cove has a Y shape and it is accessed by a path of about 200 metres from the development.
OBSERVACIONES
The cove has two swimming areas, the first one is bigger having 20 metres of coastline and an islet near the shore. The second one has about 7metres, there is a fisherman's hut, it is well sheltered and has a small concrete platform.

How to arrive at Cala Avellana
How to arrive at Cala Avellana
From Mahón
Leave Mahón by the Me-7 towards Fornells and Es Grau. Then, we will follow the detour to Es Grau. It is the Me-5 Road.
Me-5 Road up to Es Grau
Can't miss it. Continue along the road up to the end where we will see two wide parking areas at the development: one on our right and a bit further on another one on our left. We recommend to leave the car here as at the development the streets are very narrow and the cove is 500 metres away.
Beach access
After the second parking, continue along the main street and divert onto another street on our right: wewill see the restaurant "C'an Berna" very near. At the end of the street we will see a field and some paths running east. We will follow one of those paths 200 metres more up to Cala Avellana.
