LA PLAYA
Escala is the northern and closest cove to the lighthouse of Favàritx. You must park in the verge itself or reach the lighthouse which is relatively near, although there are those who leave the vehicles just behind the cove. It is a lovely area when there is no swell. A line of rocks closing the small bay can be seen.
OBSERVACIONES
Gorgeous cove of slate rocks frequented by swimmers when there is no swell. Footwear is recommended when swimming. Curious rock formation as it looks like it is closing the small bay.

Car park during 2018
During the summer of 2018 you can not access the Favàritx Lighthouse road, it must be accessed only by bus from Mahón. Here the schedules and location of where they leave: https://goo.gl/kNp92U It will be a measure until you make the parking in the area. This beach is just to the left of the lighthouse.
Me 7 Road
From Mahón, leave by the Me-7 road towards Fornells.
Detour to Favàritx
After about 7,5 km follow the detour to Faro de Favàritx, which is perfectly signposted.
Park
We will continue from the detour about 7,5 km. After Es Portitxol, we will see to our left a second clearing used as a parking which is right behind s'Escala; other cars park on the verge, though in some stretches the verge has a very high gradient and it is not advisable.
