How to arrive at Cala Albarca

Sant Mateu d'Albarca

We must reach the development of Sant Mateu d'Albarca. It is a place with few houses and a white church at a crossroads. There are brown signs before reaching the crossroads indicating the cove, but if we go past them, facing this church we must continue along the road on the left.

Towards Hotel Rural Astarte

Cover 700 metres until you reach a junction with a yellow sign indicating to the left Hotel Rural Astarte. We will follow this path.

Path on the right in a grove

Continue along this road up to a grove beside a detached house. At the entrance to this detached house there is a plaque with a number, serving this as a reference: 32026. We will find the detached house on our right and skirting it, there is a path that we must follow. A nearby tree has a yellow sticker indicating Cala Albarca.

Unpaved path

We must continue along this dirt road for about a kilometre. It is a narrow path with sharp bends, we will reach a circular area or small dirt roundabout. There is little space to park.

Path

Two paths diverge here: the one on the right still goes up and the one on the left, which we have to follow, starts to go down the hill with lots of bends. We recommend leaving the car up there and continuing on foot.
